SHARE YOUR COVID-19 STORY

One of the main tenets of the mission of the Fresno County Historical Society is to preserve local history as it happens for the generations yet to come. With that in mind, we are actively gathering materials that document the COVID-19 pandemic in Fresno County so that the full impact of this crisis can be understood far into the future.

Your help is needed! We are collecting and archiving official statements from local businesses, organizations and government offices as well as looking for photographs, videos and personal stories of how the pandemic is affecting our community. On the 100th anniversary of this pandemic, what would you like to see or know? How will you want this time chronicled for your great-grandchildren?

Keep a journal if you can to preserve your thoughts and feelings.

Please submit a narrative of your personal COVID-19 experience using the form below.

MY COVID-19 EXPERIENCE

SUPPORT

Dear Friends,

First, let me express our hope that you are safe and well. Certainly, we are all looking forward to brighter days ahead.  I wanted to recognize that, in this time of crisis, I know you have many concerns for yourself and your family.  We at the Society have taken steps to protect the public as well.  We have closed the Mansion and the Archive to the public and have postponed our planned spring events and fundraisers.  These steps have impacted our budget and made financial support of the Society all the more vital.  Please consider becoming a member or making an additional donation to the Society today.

Thank you for your support of the Fresno County Historical Society - we look forward to seeing you soon.

Warm regards,
Elizabeth Laval
