Kearney Mansion Museum Public Tours



Bring your family and friends to the Kearney Historic Site for a guided tour that provides a glimpse of the San Joaquin Valley's agricultural beginnings through the life and times of M. Theo Kearney - a California agricultural pioneer who came to be known as the Raisin King. Tour the turn-of-the-century Kearney Mansion Museum (also known as the Superintendent’s Lodge) that was the ranch headquarters of Kearney’s Fruit Vale Estate. Experience the grounds of Kearney's 1890s landscape - now a public park, perfect for a family picnic or leisurely walk. The hour-long tour of the Superintendent’s Lodge includes a visit to the Ranch Kitchen/Museum Store.

The Kearney Mansion Museum will be closed Saturday and Sunday, February 23-24 due to tour guide unavailability.

Please note Kearney Mansion Museum is located in the center of Kearney Park. The park is administered by the County of Fresno.
The County charges a $5.00 vehicle fee for entrance into the park
No photography, food or drinks are allowed during the tour.
Kearney Mansion Museum Admission Fees

Seniors (60 & up) $5
Students (13-17 or with ID) $5
Children (3-12) $4
Free for Historical Society members and children under the age of 3.

Disabled Visitors
Due to the historic nature of the house museum, the second floor is not accessible for disabled guests. A photo album of the second floor is available for viewing. Please note: The wheelchair lift for access to the first floor of the museum is not operable at this time. Please call (559) 441-0862 to check on the status of the repair. We apologize for the inconvenience. Upon request, we can provide a book with photos of the Museum.
NOTICE: Portrait Photographers: To book photography sessions on the Kearney Mansion Museum porch, grounds and out buildings surrounding the Museum, please call the Society office at (559) 441- 0862. Appointments available Tuesday through Friday, between 10 am - 4 pm. There is a $10 portrait/photography sitting fee for every 30 minutes of use for exterior photography
